CommUNIty Discovery Series: Living with Allergies

Is there anyone with allergies, or have children living with allergies? This session may be of particular interest to you.

This FREE CommUNIty event is very close to my heart: I’ll be sharing my personal journey in ‘A Life on High Alert’ – Living with severe allergies.

From everyday challenges like eating out or sending children to school, to the bigger questions around independence at university and how to navigate the workplace, I’ll explore how resilience, awareness, and education can transform fear into strength. Alongside my personal experience, I’ve lectured on living with anaphylaxis at Southampton University’s MSc programme and worked with national allergy organisations to promote awareness and improve support for those affected. This session is for anyone who wants to better understand how we can support those living with this life-threatening condition.
